Tributes pour in for the Late Nda-Isaiah

Tributes, eulogies are pouring in following the death of  the renowned publisher for Leadership newspapers, Sam Nda-Isaiah, who died on Friday due to COVID-19 complications, aged 58.
In a condolence message to his family, the Northern Governors’ Forum (NGF) described the Late journalist as a visionary man who believed in the unity, peace and progress of Nigeria.
According to the Forum, Nda-Isaiah used his writing and contributions to call for a strong democratic culture. 
Former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan also commiserated with the Nda-Isaiah’s family and the management of Leadership newspapers on his passing. 
The former President in a condolence message to the family described the late Nda-Isaiah as an erudite journalist and columnist who deployed his creativity towards promoting peace, progress and unity. 
Dr. Jonathan also noted that the late publisher was deeply committed to public good, adding that he would be missed for his patriotism and incisive commentary on the state of the nation. 
Similarly  former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar yesterday said he is shocked by the death of the publisher.
Atiku, in his Tweeter handle, said he is saddened by the demise of the publisher, saying Sam’s can-do-spirit, coupled with his boldness and innovativeness embodied the very best of Nigerian spirit. 
Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, extolled the virtues of Nda-Isaiah. 
Tinubu, in a condolence message issued through his media aide, Tunde Rahman, described Nda-Isaiah as a courageous, conscientious journalist and columnist.
